Premium SSAB Q&T wear-resistant steel plate — engineered for severe friction, impact and abrasive wear.
Hardox 450 is a premium quenched and tempered wear-resistant steel plate independently developed and produced by SSAB, supplied in hot rolled, quenched & tempered (Q&T) condition. It features higher hardness and stronger abrasion resistance than Hardox 400, while maintaining excellent toughness and processability.
With a standard hardness of 450 HBW, its service life is 4 to 6 times longer than ordinary carbon steel. It effectively resists severe friction, impact and abrasive wear, greatly reducing equipment failure rate and maintenance costs.
