Product Introduction

　　Hardox 500 is a high-performance quenched and tempered wear-resistant steel plate manufactured by SSAB. It features ultra-high hardness and superior abrasion resistance, upgraded from Hardox 400 and Hardox 450 grades. With a standard hardness of 500 HBW, it delivers 5–7 times longer service life than ordinary carbon steel. It performs excellently under extreme abrasive wear, strong impact and heavy load conditions. Meanwhile, it retains good toughness and workability for bending, welding and cutting processing. It is widely used in heavy mining equipment, crusher parts, cement plant machinery, bulk material handling equipment and other severe wear industrial scenarios.
