EN 10149-2 S500MC is a premium hot-rolled, thermomechanically processed high-yield structural steel specially designed for cold-forming applications. It combines 500 MPa minimum yield strength, excellent cold formability and high structural strength, making it ideal for lightweight, high-load components in the automotive, construction-machinery and agricultural-equipment industries.
As a core grade of the EN 10149-2 cold-forming steel series, S500MC is supplied in thermomechanically rolled (TMCP) condition with stable mechanical performance.
