S275JR (Material No. 1.0044) is a widely‑used non‑alloy carbon structural steel to BS EN 10025‑2. It offers excellent weldability, formability, ductility and stable mechanical properties with low carbon equivalent and favourable cold‑working performance. As a base hot‑rolled structural grade, S275JR can be used without further heat treatment, delivering cost‑effective and reliable performance for general structural engineering.
