API 5L PSL2 X65 (also designated L450N) is a high-strength carbon steel line pipe tailored for high-pressure, long-distance oil and gas transmission systems. As one of the high-grade X-series pipeline steels under the API 5L 44th edition specification, X65 features a minimum yield strength of 65 Ksi (450 MPa), far exceeding conventional low-grade pipeline steel.

Complying with strict PSL2 manufacturing and testing standards, API 5L X65 PSL2 pipe delivers superior tensile strength, excellent low-temperature toughness and stable weldability.   • N — Normalized, or normalized formed, or normalized and tempered

Note: X65N (L450N) denotes the normalized / normalized formed delivery condition — the data in sections 03 and 04 below apply to X65N. Multiple delivery states are available to meet the stringent performance requirements of high-pressure pipeline engineering and complex service environments.
