API 5L PSL2 X65 line pipe is a high-strength carbon steel pipeline product widely used for conveying gas, water, and oil in the natural gas and oil industries. It belongs to the high-grade "X" series of the API 5L pipeline steel specification, covering standard grades including A25, A, B and X42, X46, X52, X56, X60, X65, X70, X80. The two-digit number following the "X" indicates the Minimum Yield Strength (in 000’s psi) of pipe produced to this grade. The minimum yield strength of API 5L PSL2 X65 pipes is 65000 psi.
