API 5L PSL2 X70 (L485Q) is a high-strength carbon steel line pipe for high-pressure oil, gas and water transmission. Complying with the API 5L 44th edition standard, it features a minimum yield strength of 70,300 psi (485 MPa), ideal for long-distance and heavy-duty energy pipeline projects.

API 5L specifies two product levels: PSL1 and PSL2. PSL2 adopts stricter chemical, mechanical, delivery and testing requirements. X70 PSL2 pipe offers high strength, reliable low-temperature toughness and excellent weldability, widely used for onshore / offshore high-pressure trunk pipelines and heavy-duty fluid systems.
